Doctor of Dental Medicine
Dr. Charles Reinertsen started his dental career in 1979 after graduating from the University of Florida’s College of Dentistry. After settling his family in Eustis, he opened his family dental practice in Tavares and has been serving the dental needs of local residents for almost 40 years. He and his patients have grown up together. As you get to know Dr. Reinertsen, you’ll notice that he is a lifelong learner. It’s not uncommon to hear him say that he’s not using the materials or techniques that he learned in school as there are better materials and services now. He encourages the entire team to continually learn and grow to better serve our patients. Throughout his career, Dr. Reinertsen has volunteered his time and knowledge with the community and his profession. He has participated in Million Dollar Smiles, Give Kids A Smile, the Florida Dental Association’s program for National Children’s Dental Health Month. Locally, he has donated his time and skills to Project Dentists Care of Lake County, a volunteer organization dedicated to providing high quality care through the Lake County Health Department Dental Clinic. Dr. Reinertsen has also served on the Lake County Dental Society’s board in various positions including president. Dr. Reinertsen has even found time to write a book and collaborate on a compilation of business experts. He wrote The Power of a Really Great Smile to share stories of patients that have experienced the life changing effect of changing their smile. As a contributing author, Dr. Reinertsen shared the importance of a great smile in the business arena in a chapter of Big Ideas for Your Business, a collaboration of authors associated with America’s PremierExperts™. During personal time, Dr. Reinertsen enjoys spending time with his friends and family, especially his two grandchildren. He loves travelling and listening to educational material while on the go.
Doctor of Dental Medicine
Lifetime Dental Family is introducing Dr. Judy Forrester to the Tavares community. Dr. Forrester joined the Team in February of this year.
As many of you know, Dr. Chuck has been looking for the right dentist to join him on the mission of complete dental health to help your overall health. After interviewing at least eight other dentists, Dr. Forrester came in for a working interview. It was that same day that Dr. Chuck knew she was the right dentist to add to our practice. It was a great match!
Several of you have already experienced her warm smile, caring attitude and gentle touch. She is the perfect addition to our office and our mission of helping you and your family have and maintain your dental health while having the smile you want.
Dr. Forrester was born and raised in Colombia until she was 14 years old. Her family then decided to make the move to the United States. They settled down in Clearwater- Florida, where she began attending high school and started learning English. This was quite the task as she had only spoken Spanish her entire life, up until that point.
Dr. Forrester attended the University of South Florida where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology. She then went on to attend Nova Southeastern University where she earned her dental degree. Her philosophy on dentistry is built around the importance of patient education on oral health and building relationships with her patients through listening and connecting to them individually on a personal level.
When Dr. Forrester is not working, you may find her and her husband doing various activities outdoors such as hiking, camping, kayaking and relaxing at the beach.
We look forward to you meeting Dr. Forrester at your next dental visit. You will love her! (We do!)
